INTEGER is the UK’s leading partnership committed to delivering the benefits of step-change innovation in housing and the built environment. Our aim is to ensure that our buildings meet the sustainability challenges of the 21st century in social, economic and environmental terms.

What has the INTEGER Partnership achieved to date?

Ever since its formation in 1996, the INTEGER partnership has been leading the way in developing, demonstrating and delivering the benefits of intelligent & green innovation in the built environment.

INTEGER pilot projects throughout the UK are leading the way to the mainstream delivery of sustainable housing schemes.

The INTEGER Millennium House in Watford is established as an international icon of housing innovation, providing the inspiration for successful new housing schemes throughout the UK and around the world.

The INTEGER Westminster Towers Programme is providing a high-profile research and demonstration platform for intelligent & green housing regeneration and community development.

The INTEGER education and training programme continues to lead the way in demonstrating the education and employment opportunities associated with the built environment in the 21st century.

INTEGER’s Classroom of the Future project is demonstrating the applicability of intelligent & green principles to schools and other building types, and the wide-ranging performance improvements that are achievable.

The INTEGER Hong Kong Pavilion and the INTEGER Kunming demonstration project illustrate INTEGER’s global application and significance, and the international opportunities associated with the programme.

Together these INTEGER initiatives provide firm foundations for the successful development and delivery of sustainable communities in the 21st century.

What are the partnership's Current aims?

The current aims of the partnership include:

To firmly establish INTEGER in the mainstream of UK housing delivery.

To apply INTEGER’s proven research and development to the building of sustainable communities throughout the UK, in partnership with government agencies, social housing providers and the private sector.

To transfe the innovation and learning outcomes from the INTEGER Westminster Towerrs housing regeneration and community development programme to wider regeneration projects including a ten towerblock, 1000 home estate in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

To ensure that the innovation and learning outcomes from the INTEGER Letchworth and INTEGER Wolverhampton projects are effectively documented and transferred through the partnership network.

To extend the partnership’s programme of research, communications and education.

To disseminate and apply the results from the INTEGER Classroom of the Future project.

To extend INTEGER's international innovation programme.

These aims are regularly reviewed and updated by the INTEGER partners.

What are the benefits of INTEGER Partnership?

The services and benefits provided to each partner are individually tailored to meet their specific needs. To achieve this, the INTEGER Partnership package includes five days consultancy from the INTEGER consultant team that can be used to identify and address each partner’s specific requirements.
